DNT Landscape Services is a local landscaping team proudly providing the Northern Rivers area with friendly and high quality services. We specialise in all aspects of creative landscape and construction, working with you to bring your perfect outside space to life.
Our Team
David Tinning – a kiwi now proudly based in Byron Shire – is the Managing Director of DNT Landscape Services. Dave has over 20 years’ experience in landscaping, including traditional stone work, construction and engineering.
His passion began in 1997 as a stone mason in New Zealand under the tutelage of a 5th generation English stone master who worked him hard and taught him heaps. Later, his itch to travel took Dave across oceans and continents, allowing him to develop his skills in new contexts, including the UK, Continental Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia.
In 2009, Dave moved to Melbourne as a qualified landscaper specialising in hard landscape construction, and over the next seven years worked and managed high-end residential projects in the city’s most desirable areas, including a lengthy period of commercial work in aged care and urban apartment development.
Yearning to honour his inner country boy, in 2016 Dave moved to Byron Bay, bringing with him significant experience in the industry as well as a solid appreciation and understanding of customer service, perfection and good work.
Dave brings together a strong team of like-minded and experienced tradespeople, looking to create their best work in every job.
